I have been receiving phone calls everyday from this number who says they are Microsoft in wellington. I am abit concerned, because I did give my credit card details. They are Indian and the man says his name is Ron. I heard from my friend that she got the same phone call and told the police and police said unfortunately they cannot do anything. I think this should be reported to the police because they have been calling so many people for credit card details and the scary thing is they can control your computer. Something should be done about this, it is not safe for NZ.

An Indian accent man saying something about they have access to information about the last financial year that I have debt (amounts described in Rupees....... ha??????) debt from loans, store cards, credit card, catalogues, overdraft etc. I allowed him to speak then stated CLEARLY that I have none of the stated & in effect, I have no doubt & have lived my life INTENTIONALLY not getting into debt. He then asked if I was married.....No, live with someone........No, any other person registered at this address...... No......I live alone Thanks!!!! He then very abruptly terminated the call. How does he know the debt I have more so than me????? Another scam, Thank Goodness for caller ID & number blocker.

they have been calling on behalf of childfund and said me they are from 2evolve but when I looked up for their details its clear that they are not 2evolve as their phone number is a different one. I grew suspicious after they started to ask details about payment for sponsorship and my card details etc., Clearly a spam call !!! I've also called up childfund with this regard to notify them of such fradulant activity in their name.

A woman called Pauline rang from this number asking for my Dad by his name. He wasn't home at the time. I just rang the number and like you got music played. I wonder how she got HIS name because my phone number is listed under MY name and is an unlisted number.

Makes sense that it was North Shore Hospital as I was there today. I just phoned the number back and got someone who couldn't speak english so I thought it was a prank - until I googled the number and found this.

phone these lowlife back and make sure you use the prefix 0197 as it disables your number being shown if they have phone id.Tell them what you think of them then hang up

I receive frequent calls from this number and once the receiver is picked it goes to a FAX machine. This is annoying.
