David Calls, and then hangs up when I answer. The nice thing about having an SIP (Internet) phone is I can blacklist this number in less than 30 seconds. Done. No more calls from 069299435

Dee These people have been calling several times in the evening- they hang up if answered or dlnt leave a message. We are on the national "no call list" too so i dont understand it. A scam of some sort obviously.

Richard Calkin There has been some suggestion on this thread that Web Genius is somehow responsible for these calls. I am MD of Web Genius and this number and this type of behaviour is nothing whatsoever to do with Web Genius. I think it is Web Originate, a web company based in India, but whoever it is, I can assure you it is nothing whatsoever to do with Web Genius. Please call me to discuss if you wish on 0800 256 506.

Grrrr!!!! These guys have rung a few times today. Rung a few times last week too. They usually hang up but last week I got "Can I speak to such and such please?" "Such and such is not known here, I think you have the wrong number." "Is this 09 zxystpq?" "Yeees" "Ok then I have the right number but the wrong name?" then starts talking me about some bs thing regards my computer. So I hung up. I don't know why they bothered trying today but my flatmate answered this time and she told them our number wrong bahaha. It seems as though these people have been making a nuisance of themselves for quite some time now. Not impressed as I work from home and quite often get phone calls from 06 numbers. Will have to be extra diligent from now on.

James This number has been ringing us for 2 weeks, always with no-one on the other end, until yesterday, when someone with an Indian accent said they were conducting an educational survey. I answered a couple of generic questions about how pleased I am with Auckland schools in such a way as to not give them an opening to offer me private tuition (I think that's what they are selling), and that was it. Except they called again today, asking the same questions. Will it never end?

Spange Another hang up phone call from this number? This is now the 100th complaint to this website yet telecom will do nothing? What's the story? Tried to call back and it rings (sounds like a foreign tone) and no answer.

Anon Keep getting a call from this number twice a day for the last fortnight. Called number back but get nothing.... Any ideas anyone how can you stop this surely there must be someway apart from having all overseas calls blocked..
